We are looking for an important contributor to the Tax team to support the tax reporting function. As the Senior Tax Manager, Income Tax Accounting, you will report to the Director, Income Tax. You will be a member of the team that prepares the quarterly and annual tax provision. You will analyze information and apply critical thinking skills as a leader for special projects which allow for continued growth as a tax professional. Our focus is to build a culture of collaboration.

You will be based in Electronic Art's Headquarters in Redwood Shores, CA.

Responsibilities

  • Review and prepare quarterly and annual tax provision requirements under ASC 740

  • Model potential tax accounting implications of tax planning initiatives, including Pillar2 impact

  • Review quarterly and annual ASC 718 (FAS 123R) and uncertain tax positions (FIN 48) calculations

  • Support tax process documentation and SOX controls

  • Lead special projects, including using technology to improve efficiency

Qualifications

  • 7+ years income tax provision and/or federal and state income tax compliance experience

  • Proficiency with ASC 740 (corporate income tax accounting, uncertain tax positions, stock-based compensation)

  • Experience with OneSource Tax Provision, Oracle Essbase, Hyperion, and Power BI

  • CPA, MS in Tax helpful

US COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.

Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

BASE SALARY RANGES

  • California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento): $138,200 - $219,000 USD Annually

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
