On Design Home, we are excited to develop new ways for players to enjoy interior design. Not only are we changing how women game, we're also changing how they discover and shop for everything from furniture to home decor. We are looking for an experienced and experienced Analyst to join our Design Home team. As an Analyst, you will help guide business intelligence and providing valuable insights into player behaviour and their interactions with our game features. Reporting to the Senior Product Manager, you will collaborate with the product team to forecast the business, prioritise features, and improve product performance. You can be remote from Toronto, Ontario or if you're close to our studio, you're also welcome to adopt a hybrid work environment if that's what you prefer.

Your Responsibilities

  • Partner with PM, finance, and UA to perform regular forecasting activities using models based on game events

  • Lead and deliver data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making through effective facilitation of weekly business meetings and monthly business reviews.

  • Share, present, and promote relevant insights discovered through analytics efforts to enhance product feature design and user experience.

  • Utilize several analysis techniques and model trends in data to predict the impact of new content, features, and campaigns on the economy, performance, and player experience.

  • Collaborate with engineers and feature owners to design and implement telemetry for measuring feature success.

  • Perform comprehensive analysis and deliver actionable insights to support the PM Team's decision-making process.

  • Analyze complex problems, convert them into structured analyses and reports, extract valuable insights, and generate actionable outcomes.

  • Develop and implement data pipelines and dashboards to deliver actionable insights to cross-functional teams, including live ops and art team.

  • Use data to assist the team in triaging live issues and improving the game’s technical performance.

Your Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role.

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline.

  • Experience working with forecasting models and performing data-driven analysis.

  • Fluency in SQL and database querying.

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, with experience in data manipulation, analysis, and visualisation.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to convert complex problems into structured analyses and reports.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex findings.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in data analysis.

  • Ability to adapt and work successfully in a fast-paced environment.
