The Challenge Ahead

This exciting role offers a talented and experienced technical product manager the opportunity to drive innovations that improve the ability for EA’s developers to make great games and products. You will have the chance to work with game teams across the entire organization, including FC, Madden, Battlefield and Battlefront, and central teams such as Frostbite and Origin. You should have a strong focus on problem-solving that leverages your technical background and experience to empathize with your customers and design product enhancements to improve their experience. Strong soft skills are required to collaborate with individual game teams, in order to gain adoption and enhance these solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define product strategy, roadmap, and vision

  • Understand customer pain-points and translate them into a set of prioritized requirements – customers are EA internal game developers, so previous development experience is a plus.

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market needs and opportunities

  • Develop product requirements and user stories, and prioritize features based on business impact and customer value

  • Work closely with engineering and design teams to ensure product development aligns with product vision and roadmap

  • Analyze product performance and customer feedback to continuously improve product features and user experience

  • Manage product launches and product lifecycle, and ensure product meets quality standards and security/auditing requirements

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field o MBA or other advanced degree preferred

  • Previous experience in software development is a strong plus

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of launching and/or growing successful products

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decisions

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

  • Solid understanding of product development processes, including Agile methodologies

  • Experience in the software industry, preferably in SaaS or cloud-based products

  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and mentor junior product managers
