EA is expanding and we need your expansion human resource expertise to establish and strengthen our people processes while ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations. You'll also partner with other site leaders in creating a welcoming environment that reinforces our values. Reporting to the Director of People Practices, this is a unique opportunity for you to get in on the ground floor of partnering with us to build out our local HR department.

You will work onsite from Bogotá, Colombia (Ciudad Salitre Nor-Oriental).

Responsibilities

  • Administration & Collaboration: Builds and administers locally compliant people processes in partnership with EA centers of expertise. May represent EA to local authorities or government agencies regarding employment matters.

  • Site Leadership / Cultural Steward: Works with our managers, employees and departments to develop overall capability to foster a healthy, cohesive, collaborative, fun and fair workplace.

  • Coaching: Partners with managers to provide candid, unbiased coaching and counsel to enhance manager effectiveness and improve individual and team capabilities.

  • Talent Readiness: Delivers global talent initiatives including talent planning, focal review, and performance management. Ensure senior HR Leadership is aware of site needs and work in tandem to deploy needed strategies or resources.

  • Insights & Analytics: Uses HR technology, business intelligence and local market information, to provide data-driven insights that enable sound outcomes.

  • Business Oriented: Understand client and market business models/cycles, priorities and cultural nuances as an input into operational strategy; understand both the business internally and also the external landscape.

  • Program Delivery: Locally delivers core PE programs within defined timelines and acts as point of escalation for local managers with questions.

  • Change Management: Partners with site leadership and global partners to assess change readiness for People initiatives, provides localization input, and collaborates to arrive at solutions that drive adoption.

Qualifications

  • Written and oral fluency in English and Spanish.

  • Bachelor's or equivalent degree in a relevant field combined with 7 year’s progressive experience as an international HR business partner or HR generalist.

  • Experienced using data and data-driven insights to support the business.

  • Demonstrated local knowledge of HR requirements, HR best practices, HR administration, employment laws and employment customs and the ability to translate that knowledge into scalable solutions.

  • Outstanding project leadership and delivery experience; oversee region-wide, high impact talent programs across the business.

  • Experienced creating healthy organizations, driving transformation and helping culture be a competitive advantage.
