Within the Central Technology Organization, Development & Release Engineering (DRE) is EA's game Continuous Integration (CI) specialist team, providing automated systems that enable the studio teams to have an always playable game build. We also develop and operate other products and platforms, linked in cohesive game development and testing workflows that make life simpler for game creators. In the CI space, we've embarked on a journey to build a product that improves elasticity of our build systems by transitioning workflows from on-prem to cloud infrastructure.

You will be part of a globally distributed team responsible for developing our latest solution for game build automation, testing it, and integrating it for a game team customer. You will report to the local Software Engineering Manager and benefit from a local working buddy, both located in Bucharest, and work either in a hybrid capacity (preferable) or full-remotely.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in DevOps activities related to the completion and validation of a minimum viable product;

  • Contribute to the implementation and testing of new product features;

  • Assist the efforts of integrating the product to a customer’s production environment;

  • Document workflows and facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Python;

  • Experience with version control systems like Git;

  • Basic experience with scripting in batch/PowerShell/shell;

  • Basic familiarity with Microsoft Azure;

  • Good verbal and written English.
