The Mobile Business Planning Analyst is part of the Asia Commercial team focused on the enhancement of EA's commercial activities, delivering revenue forecasts and insights. You will partner with Mobile Demand Planning, SDI & FP&A teams to align on forecasts to ensure forecast accuracy and market intelligence is captured. You will also provide competitive and market-based reporting that enhances the commercial performances. You will report to the Senior Planning & Intelligence Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • You will lead mobile game revenue forecasts for multiple titles

  • Leverage mobile games experience to drive a high level of autonomy and provide support for our team of revenue analysts

  • Work directly with game analysts, product managers, marketing, publishing and finance to establish collaborative forecasts with aligned assumptions

  • Evaluate revenue opportunities for regional commercial/marketing executions leveraging market best practices and competitive information including pricing, UA, localization, culturalization and regional live ops

  • Forecast market potential for future product releases utilizing internal and external market information

  • Influence live service planning and merchandising for mobile games that reach millions of players weekly

  • Support additional ad hoc analysis utilizing standard and custom mobile game metrics

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience forecasting revenue, with 2+ years in mobile gaming (or vice versa)

  • Excellent Excel skills including pivot tables, vlookups, index+match, charts and graphs

  • Working knowledge of SQL, data visualization software package (e.g., Tableau or R packages) & PowerPoint

Key Performance Measures

  • Successful delivery of projects supported by compelling presentations and thorough, insightful analysis

  • Supporting the commercial team to exceed Plan revenue

  • Support timely and accurate commercial risk and opportunities framework
