DRE are EA's global automation specialists. We are a team of more than 100 staff based in North America, Europe and Asia. We work with our internal customers (EA's game, engine, product, and content teams) and serve them by providing services related to Build Automation, Continuous Integration, and Metrics Reporting.

You would join the Development and Release Engineering team (DRE) in Shanghai. You will work with our teams in Asia, assisting with build and release automation, infrastructure management, and metrics collection. You will report to the Development Director for the DRE Asia team.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with other engineers to maintain and enhance a robust build pipeline supporting multiple platforms

  • Create, modify, and maintain build infrastructure and workflow tools

  • Monitor automation systems and proactively respond to breakages

  • Monitor dashboards and analyze metrics to improve automation systems

  • Report regular status on assigned tasks and identify project risks that could have a negative impact

  • Document issues and solutions to help team members to improve processes and apply the solutions across a variety of different environments

Desired Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent training and professional experience

  • Good verbal and written English

  • 3+ years of experience in either build automation or DevOps

  • Experience with programming languages (e.g. Python)

  • Experience with Configuration Management and Continuous Integration/Deployment

  • Experience with System administration (e.g. Linux, Windows, VMware)

  • Experience with Perforce or Git

  • Experience with Container technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)

  • Experience with Orchestration tools (e.g. Puppet, Terraform)
