We are looking for a Head of Central Operations, Central Technology, who will report to the VP of CTO Operations, and lead a versatile team supporting our organisation and partners. This is an important leadership role focused on the management of teams and the operational support they provide to our businesses that can includes being a primary contact for our businesses to support daily work and operational projects.

The Head of Operations focuses on execution, strategic outcomes, managing around future challenges and ensuring all operational aspects of Central Operations are optimised and efficient.

Responsibilities:

  • You will be Responsible for the operational aspects of the Central Operations team (A.k.a. “Hub”), including establishing functional processes and improving operational efficiency to support all of our teams, businesses, and partners.

Financial:

  • You will oversee the annual/quarterly budget process and planning for the central operations teams.

  • Track financial risks and opportunities. Monitor actuals and update budget and processes.

Business Analysis:

  • Collect, compile and analyze business metrics that provide insights for multiple teams within the Central Ops organisation.

  • Support delivery of systems and methods for iterative reporting,

Strategic Planning:

  • Drive strategic planning important programs for multiple teams within the central group.

Execution:

  • Support execution of the core central functions that contribute to long-term success within our team

Process:

  • Use and improve the frameworks and processes the BU uses to establish a rhythm in how they conduct their business, e.g. financial submissions, resource planning.

  • You will guide the Goals process and updates, including Measurements for the Central Operations team.

  • You will partner with craft leaders in the operations team to ensure development plans are in place for all resources.

You bring..

  • 7+ years of Operational & Leadership experience with team sizes of 50+ people

  • Experience leading teams and managing remote work, coupled with the ability to oversee projects of varying scope and complexity.

  • Demonstrable analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to decipher complex multivariate problems.

  • Expertise presenting high-impact plans and recommendations to executives.

BC COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

BASE SALARY RANGES

  • British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria): º $151,800 - $208,900 CAN Annually

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
