We enable EA teams to build better games faster by building a framework around meta game systems that allows for high reusability, rapid development, and scalability. We enable best-in-class data solutions to give groups at all levels visibility and insight into games' performance and opportunities.
To build this framework, we are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to join an experienced team of developers on a remote working basis. If you have experience with building services through modern techniques connecting multiple services together we want to hear from you. Reporting to a Technical Director, you will work with multiple developers to bring the next game services to life. Many of our software engineers are "polyglots" and excel in multiple environments.
As a Full Stack Software Engineer you will:
Develop responsive, resilient, massively scalable, and globally available services that support millions of players
Creatively blend security best practices and original techniques to keep user data secure and prevent cheating
Apply and improve service deployment and troubleshooting strategies that maximise uptime
Guide design and implementation of APIs and protocols that are consistent, formalised, and testable
Demonstrate excellent debugging skills under iteratively changing requirements during development
Author and review technical design documents and API specifications detailing software requirements
Maintain a suite of automated tests that validate the correctness of backend services
Collaborate and review code written by peers and game teams
Provide technical support to game team developers/partners using our services
Qualifications

Bachelor/Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
5+ years of job experience in a hands-on coding role
Experience with client/server architecture
Experience with multiple programming languages (TypeScript, JavaScript, C#)
Experience building RESTful web services
Experience with cloud providers (GCP, AWS, Azure)
Operate with autonomy and provide solutions to issues
Pluses
Worked in the games industry before
Shipped and supported scalable web services hosted in the cloud
Experience with Java/Kotlin or C++
Experience working with modern Front End frameworks (React, Angular)
Experience with version control (Git, Perforce)
Experience with a relational database such as Spanner, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle
Desire to teach and learn from your peers
