Weโre looking for an experienced Development Director who can anchor communication across the team, manage multiple workflow-dependencies and risks, and help the team hit their development goals.
Reporting to a Development Director II, you will manage a development team consisting of mostly Software Engineers.
Responsibilities
You will work with feature development teams to lock down requirements and specifications.
You will develop roadmaps and schedules for important milestone deliverables by collaborating with Department leads and Producers.
You will ensure other department dependencies are accounted for.
You will raise project risks to the production team and project leadership.
You will need to identify task-related processes to improve efficiency
You will provide regular status reporting and capacity plan updates.
You will track and implement project improvement plans to promote team efficiency.
You will need to establish engagement processes: Ensure all workflows are clearly defined, processes are documented, and staff trained in expectations of their roles.
You will mentor individual contributors within the project team and may have direct reports to provide career management and .
Required Skills
5+ years Project Management or Project Lead experience.
3+ years of People Management experience.
Bachelor's degree in any number of related fields including Computer Science, Game Development, Business, 3D Arts.
Excellent knowledge of production life cycle, processes, and project planning.
Experience in a Scrum / Agile software development environment.
Experience with Jira/Jaas, Perforce, and Visio

A Masters degree
Degree in a technology related field
Experience working on live or online development
