We are looking for an experienced leader who is passionate about driving software and game quality to lead our EA Sports FC (Football Club) products.

You will provide operational leadership for the Quality Verification (QV) department, comprising management, quality design, engineering, and analytics. This multi-discipline department is a component of the development and live services for our FC franchise. You will report to the Supervising Development Director for FC QV.

Your primary responsibilities will be:

  • Manage planning in all development stages from pre-production, production, launch, and live services.

  • Scope and Capacity Management across teams in the UK.

  • Project risk management and reporting to FC leadership.

  • Improve operational effectiveness of team effort by assessing current practices, incorporating new strategies, and increasing predictability.

  • Promote the evolution of QV practices across FC.

  • Identify opportunities to share practices, tools, and analytics across multiple FC QV teams and locations - including North America and Europe

  • Change management. Change is welcomed as an opportunity to lead strategic-impacting change.

  • Partner with diverse stakeholders to build a comprehensive QV strategy for EA Sports FC

Your primary People Management responsibilities will be:

  • Mentor and support other leaders across all disciplines; build and mentor teams.

  • Identify resourcing needs, guide and develop changes to talent, skills and practices to accomplish operational and strategic goals.

  • Coordinate talent management and succession planning.

  • Monitor and evolve talent skill mix, using training and active recruitment plans and strategies.

  • Promote a culture of diversity and inclusion.

Experiences and Capabilities:

  • 5+ years of project management or team leadership experience.

  • 3+ years of experience managing people, including managing managers.

  • 3+ years of experience leading and growing large multi-discipline teams.

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.

  • Understand software quality assurance and software development lifecycle practices.

  • Education requirement: University Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
