Our FC Data & Analytics group is looking for a Data Analyst to support our development & business partner teams. Reporting to an Analytics Manager, we're looking for someone with experience diving into large datasets to explore how users interact with a product and its features, uncovering insights that help a business grow that product. You'll be a data explorer, investigator, and storyteller - identifying major trends in our data and diagnosing the causes behind them. Examples of projects you may work on include: evaluating the success of new game features, segmenting our player base to better understand behavior patterns, uncovering how football fans engage with EA SPORTS FC, and reporting on partnership campaign performances.

What you'll do on our team:

  • Receive questions from our partners, determine the best ways that our data can help answer them, and provide those insights through dashboards, reports, or presentations.

  • Develop insights to help our partners make informed decisions about feature design, licensing partnerships, and more.

  • Create dashboards and reports that enable our team and our stakeholders to identify trends in our data.

  • Explore user behaviour patterns to identify opportunities to improve the player experience.

  • Present analyses and findings to our partners in a clear and understandable way.

What we're looking for:

  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, Analytics, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in an analytics role performing quantitative analysis with big data to help guide decisions.

  • Experience in SQL and ability to extract data from large data sources with differing structures.

  • Proficiency analyzing large datasets in programmatic analysis tools (e.g. Python, R).

  • Experience with data vizualisation software (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI).

  • Familiarity with association football (soccer) and interest in the gaming industry.
