Location: flexible to UK, Romania or Sweden - can be remote, as long as you are based in one of these locations

Reporting to the FC Pro Deputy Commissioner, as Associate League Operations Manager, you will support our football esports programs globally in partnership with our Brand and Account Management Teams. We are looking for driven individuals, passionate about esports, football, and who want to create the future of interactive entertainment.

As a member of the EA SPORTSβ„’ FC Esports team, you will work on projects to shape the success of esports for EA SPORTS FC. You will join a tightly integrated team which focuses on operations and execution of events and ensures that our latest and greatest technology is integrated into tournaments

Responsibilities

The Associate League Operations Manager, FC Pro will focus on supporting the FC Pro competitive landscape by operating tournaments in conjunction with external partners, ensuring fair enforcement of rules across FC Pro, building relationships with FC Pro players, and supporting team-wide projects across the FC Pro season.

  • Work with legal and tournament operator partners to create create and enforce clear and comprehensive rulests

  • Collaborate with Operations, Account Management and other stakeholders to manage support needs and expectations for third party live events pipeline

  • Assist with operating FC Pro, implementing schedules, brackets and other key aspects of the FC Pro

  • Manage the tournament operations of online and live events by establishing repeatable process and best practices

  • Create and maintain project tracking for key projects across the team

  • Create a regular and repeatable process for players

  • Forge meaningful relationships with 3rd party tournament organisers and online communities to gather feedback, identify needs, and inform them of guidelines and obligations.

Key Requirements

  • Passion for the video game industry or managing esports programs, teams or tournaments

  • Passion for FC, video games, and competitive gaming.

  • Ability to prioritise and communicate your priorities clearly

  • Ability to build strong working relationships built on mutual trust.

  • Excellent communication (written & verbal)

  • Ability to manage projects on schedule.

  • Ability to work on call and on weekends when necessary to support tournament efforts.

  • Ability to travel on a monthly basis.
