Esports is an incredible way to engage EA SPORTS FC fans around the globe. As we build a program, integrating EA run competition and main licensed league partners, we need to ensure we are creating fun, safe and fair competition for players and great experiences for fans to engage with. As a FC Esports Associate League Operations Manager you can help create those epic experiences.

Responsibilities:

You will ensure successful implementation of technical elements focused around tournament operations for EA SPORTS FC tournaments run by both EA and Third-parties. Your duties will include:

  • Provide On-Site and Remote support for EA, League Partner and Third-Party live events, including account support and technical guidance

  • Manage viewership rewards integration process across all EA and partner events, ensuring setup, testing and implementation

  • Manage in-game content integration and in-game messaging for EA and League partners, ensuring a smooth and accurate release

  • Create detailed documentation and process for viewership rewards, in-game content integration and in-game messaging roll-outs

  • Manage equipment setup, support and teardown with Development and agency partners at live events

  • Document support requirements for live event pre-production, setup and troubleshooting to assist partners (internal and external) with supporting events

  • Collaborate with esports Development Teams on testing plans and execution to ensure that esports features function as intended and expand functionality

  • Work with Technical Events team to perform important tournament functions before, during and after live events

Qualifications:

  • Two years of experience in the video game industry or managing esports programs, teams or tournaments

  • Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.

  • Ability to work under strict deadlines and prioritise.

  • Work on call and on weekends when needed to support tournament efforts.

  • Ability to travel on a monthly basis.

Desired Skills:

  • Interest in and knowledge of esports and the gaming industry, including EA SPORTS FC and EA Sports FC Pro

  • Some experience in event planning, sports management, or esports.

  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office and Google Suite productivity tool

  • Knowledge in Project Management tools (e.g. Trello, Asana).

  • To work under demanding situation and troubleshoot in real time.

  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality work.

  • Interactive with the ability to build relationships with our partners.

  • You will be reporting to Senior Tech events producer
