What you will do:

As a Technical Experience Designer, you will work with Visual and UX Experience Designers, and Software Engineers, to create outstanding player experiences. You will break down visual design mockups into smaller pieces that you will implement directly in the engine to help create the building blocks that make up the game's user-interface. You will build new screens, widgets, and other UI elements to specifications in collaboration with the Visual and UX Design teams.

Responsibilities:

  • You will implement screens, widgets, logic, and data flows using a combination of visual and traditional scripting

  • You will use graphics software to generate images, implement re-usable colors and font styles, and build other visual elements that align with the game's existing design system

  • Design and help build tools and workflows to support iterative development

  • Work with Visual and UX Designers, as well as Software Engineers to breakdown design, technical and data requirements

Requirements:

  • Experience prototyping, building, and managing UI features from concept to release

  • Have previous experience as a Technical Designer, Technical Artist, Scripter, or similar role

  • Have worked in games or other interactive media

  • Experience working in a collaborative and cross-discipline environment

  • Interest in UI and user experience

  • Experience with Visual Scripting or Programming/Scripting languages
