As part of the Adrenaline team, you will develop AI architectures and frameworks which will support player evolution year-over-year in AAA titles in a changing technology landscape of AI products and services . You will engage with us and a wider range of team members including game studios, the EA business at all levels, machine learning Engineering, data science, technology partners, and other teams. You will also look at how to develop and provide high-level subject matter expertise on AI to the development of AI architecture and supporting investment plans. You will report to the Director of Data Architecture.

What you will do:

  • Lead the development and evolution of our AI architecture strategy, ensuring it accommodates the dynamic nature of ML and Gen AI technologies.

  • Work with the Architecture Director to develop an AI-ready architecture that positions EA Adrenaline as leader in AI.

  • Collaborate with game teams, data scientists, MLE and AI professionals to identify and pilot use cases for AI transformation.

  • Align architecture framework with requirements by gathering inputs from different teams.

  • Align technology choices with our long-term vision, ensuring that our architecture supports our strategic growth initiatives.

  • Develop architectural guidelines and standard processes for AI/ML development, inference and training pipeline while working with ML Engineering and Data Science teams.

  • Collaborate with different teams to design AI Products from concept to deployment, supervising model development, data pipelines, and deployment strategies.

  • Work with product and engineering teams to discover AI related reusable datasets, design patterns, components, libraries and infrastructure to help optimize cost and find multi-functional commonalities.

  • Conduct audits of AI solutions and practices across data, models, and engineering, focusing on continuous improvement and scale.

  • Establish a feedback framework to assess AI products, support model recalibration, and facilitate the retraining of models with MLE and DS teams.

  • Apply architectural foresight to address the unique challenges and opportunities presented by Gen AI.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of Gen AI into our product portfolio.

  • Collaborate with security and risk leaders to anticipate and mitigate risks, such as training data poisoning, AI model theft, and adversarial samples.

  • Ensure ethical AI implementation and framework.

  • Champion innovation by staying up to date of the latest advancements in ML, Gen AI, and related technologies, and finding opportunities for their integration into our architecture.

  • Conduct business requirements mapping, vendor evaluations, technical proof-of-concept projects, use cases and test cases.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in CS/Statistics/Math or equivalent experience

  • 10+ years of work experience with AI architecture and technologies and large-scale enterprise AI products.

  • In-depth knowledge of components across data management, governance, model building, deployment, and production workflows in AI.

  • Thorough understanding of workflow and pipeline architectures for ML

  • Deep understanding of ML techniques and model development cycle

  • Deep understanding of transformer models.

  • Experience with applied mathematics, AI and GenAI frameworks.

  • Proven ability to drive change and foster an AI-architecture mindset

BC COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location. EA has listed the base salary ranges it in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in the locations listed, as of the time of this posting. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

BASE SALARY RANGES

  • British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria): ΒΊ $93,700 - $153,900 CAN Annually

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
