About UNRECORD
DRAMA STUDIOS is currently developing UNRECORD, a narrative open-world tactical FPS built with Unreal Engine 5. UNRECORD aims to deliver a highly immersive experience through realism, systemic gameplay, and a strong narrative approach. The project sits at an AA ambition level, combining creative freedom with solid production pipelines and technical rigor. Our goal is to craft believable worlds, meaningful player interactions, and gameplay systems that feel grounded, intense, and coherent.
THE ROLE
You create a cohesive controller and keyboard input icon system for UNRECORD, developing scalable, consistent in-game UI icons with a strong emphasis on clarity and gameplay integration. The work calls for systematic thinking and meticulous attention to visual uniformity across input types.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop complete controller and keyboard input icon sets, including extended and numpad keys
Establish a consistent visual language spanning all input variations
Ensure icon legibility across different in-game sizes and contexts
Set sizing, spacing, and grid standards for uniformity
Generate production-ready assets in vector and export formats
Partner with the team to integrate icons with the overall UI and art direction
REQUIREMENTS
Demonstrated game UI design experience, excluding web and app design
Portfolio highlighting icon systems or HUD elements
Understanding of in-game constraints regarding readability and contrast
Capacity to design consistent and scalable visual systems
Unreal Engine pipeline familiarity
Knowledge of controller layouts (Xbox and PlayStation standards)
Shipped game project experience
