AI consulting is critical to helping Dell Technologies move from AI experimentation to measurable enterprise impact. As organizations scale AI, GenAI and agentic AI adoption, the AI Consultant plays a business-facing role in identifying the right opportunities, validating business value, assessing readiness and creating actionable roadmaps. This role will work directly with business stakeholders, process owners and senior leaders to discover pain points, define use cases, assess feasibility and value, and hand off well-structured requirements to AI Architects and delivery teams. What you’ll achieve 

As an AI Consultant, you will be a partner with business teams to identify, assess and prioritize AI, GenAI and agentic AI opportunities across functions. You will convert business pain points into clear use case charters, value cases, success metrics and high-level implementation roadmaps. You will assess process maturity, data readiness, business impact, risk and adoption complexity to help stakeholders decide what should be solved, why it matters and what outcomes are expected. You will act as the bridge between business and technical teams by ensuring AI Architects receive clear business requirements and AI Implementation Leads receive the right business context, success measures and stakeholder expectations. Enterprise AI programs increasingly require clear governance, cross-functional alignment, workflow redesign and value tracking to scale responsibly.

You will:

• Engage business leaders, process owners and functional stakeholders through workshops, interviews and discovery sessions to identify AI, GenAI and agentic AI opportunities aligned to business priorities. 
• Assess and prioritize use cases based on business value, data readiness, process maturity, feasibility, risk, complexity and expected measurable outcomes. 
• Convert business pain points into AI use case charters, problem statements, business requirements, value hypotheses, KPIs, success measures and high-level roadmaps. 
• Partner with AI Architects to validate technical feasibility and ensure prioritized use cases are ready for solution architecture, technology assessment and delivery planning. 
• Collaborate with AI Implementation Leads to hand off business context, stakeholder expectations, success metrics, change considerations and roadmap priorities for execution planning. 

Essential Requirements 

• Bachelor’s / master’s in computer science, 18+ years of overall work experience, including 8+ years in AI consulting, digital transformation, business transformation, analytics consulting, automation consulting, process transformation, enterprise modernization or technology advisory roles. 

• Experience and clear demonstration of leading business discovery workshops, stakeholder management and interviews, current-state assessments, process walkthroughs, opportunity identification sessions and executive alignment discussions across business functions such as Services, Support, Supply Chain, Finance, Sales Operations, Customer Experience, IT or Enterprise Operations. 

• Proven ability to create AI use case charters, business problem statements, value cases, ROI estimates, prioritization matrices, feasibility assessments, business requirement documents, executive presentations and transformation roadmaps. 

• Demonstrated knowledge of AI, GenAI, LLMs, agentic AI, automation, analytics, process mining, RAG concepts, conversational AI, intelligent document processing and enterprise AI adoption patterns, with the ability to explain these concepts in business terms. 

• Strong understanding of data readiness, process maturity, workflow redesign, responsible AI considerations, privacy/security constraints, governance needs, adoption complexity and value realization frameworks. 

Desirable Requirements 

• Experience supporting enterprise AI programs involving GenAI adoption, agentic AI use cases, AI Centers of Excellence, automation programs, process mining initiatives or large-scale digital transformation portfolios. 

• Excellent executive communication, consulting mindset, structured problem-solving, business storytelling and stakeholder influence skills, with the ability to align senior leaders and cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment. 

• Consulting background with experience in AI strategy, operating model design, business case development, portfolio governance or executive-level transformation reporting.
