At Cloud Imperium Games, our European Finance team is expanding and we are currently looking for an Accounts Assistant to work onsite at our state-of-the-art studio in Manchester. The European Finance team is primarily responsible for the accounting functions of the group’s European entities and provides broader support to the group’s global business.

We are looking for a dedicated, bright, and detail-oriented individual to become an integral part of our Finance team. In this role you will be reporting into the Finance Manager and you will be supporting the growing needs of the finance department, processing all accounting information as well as ensuring all information is provided in a timely manner.

What does an Accounts Assistant at CIG do?

  • Processing high volume transactions for our European operations including invoices, corporate credit cards, multi-currency bank transactions and expenses.

  • Manage and respond to inbound finance related email enquiries each business day.

  • Perform treasury tasks including accounts payable, preparing weekly payment runs, dealing with payment queries and other ad-hoc analysis/projects.

  • Balance sheet reconciliations and preparation of monthly management information for our European operations.

  • Support Finance Managers with internal reporting, compliance and project work.

What do we expect from an Accounts Assistant?

  • Previous relevant accounts experience.

  • Excellent attention to detail is key with high levels of accuracy.

  • Adaptable, flexible and ability to multi-task.

  • Familiar with Excel.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
