What We Need

Bringing our games to life from behind the scenes, Casting works with much diverse Motion Capture and Voiceover talent. As a full-service and in-house branch of 2K, sourcing, scheduling, and paying actors to require a skilled multitasking team. As the Casting Assistant supporting that team, we want someone who relishes seeking out top talent, working with agents and producers to coordinate shoots, and ensuring prompt payment and accurate tracking of all sessions. This is a client-facing job that requires relationship building. If you are a creative and thorough person who loves to collaborate and is enthusiastic about administration, then we want to meet you!

What You Will Do

  • Assist with talent scheduling and payment

  • Schedule talent travel and accommodations

  • Archive casting materials and auditions

  • Maintain project tracking database

  • Coordinate onboarding paperwork

  • Distribute scripts, call sheets, catering forms, and other talent materials

  • Support department managers with additional daily tasks

Who We Think Will Be A Great Fit

This is a job that requires vigilant proactivity – we pride ourselves in always taking the initiative to prepare for the project's needs. You are a self-starter, adept at managing their own time, and an excellent communicator and record keeper. Above all, please provide steadfast guidance to talent, support to the Casting Team, and outstanding customer service to our partners.

This position is administrative, and candidates should be organized and comfortable with a high volume of paperwork and data entry.

We are open to either local or remote candidates for this position, though remote candidates will need to match our general PST business hours.

  • 1-3 years of production experience, particularly within creative fields: Video Games, Motion Capture, Film, TV, or Commercials

  • Proficient in Google Suite

  • Highly collaborative and able to communicate professionally, maintaining partner relationships

  • Excellent verbal and written skills

  • Strong attention to detail, especially with regards to dates, scheduling, and data entry

  • Enthusiasm for actors and entertainment – how often do you visit IMDb per day?

The pay range for this position in California at the start of employment is expected to be between $20 and $30 per hour. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an 'at-will position' and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
