Do you want to build game mechanics for a retro-futuristic universe full of action and shifting dimensions?
Join the Bohemia Interactive team in Prague and take part in developing our new title Cosmo Tales β a colorful action adventure where players race through the cosmos in a talking car and switch between realities! We're looking for a talented Unity Programmer to help us translate the imaginative visions of our designers into smooth mechanics and help us create a technically clean and fun gaming experience.
Design and development of game architecture and gameplay systems in the Unity engine for the Cosmo Tales project
Close collaboration with designers and translating their concepts into technical solutions and game systems
Writing extensible, efficient, and maintainable code, primarily in C#
Using AI tools to streamline development processes and save time on routine tasks
Designing and iterating on technical solutions based on feedback and gameplay requirements
Working with the codebase and continuously improving it as part of the team
Experience in game development within the gamedev industry (min. 3+ years of game development experience; we welcome both mid-level and senior candidates)
Knowledge of the Unity engine and C# programming is an advantage, but you won't be lost with us if you have experience with the Unreal engine either
A good understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns
A positive attitude toward AI tools β we don't expect "full vibe coding," but the ability to actively use them to speed up work and make workflows more efficient
Strong communication skills and a willingness to collaborate closely within a team
The ability to follow briefs, come up with creative technical solutions, and solve problems
Advanced knowledge of English (both written and spoken)
A friendly team of people passionate about games
Opportunities for skill development and career growth
