Engine Programmer
Are you passionate about building the technology that powers immersive, large-scale games? Join our team as a Junior Engine Programmer and start your career helping shape the Enfusion Engine – the beating heart of our future titles, including Arma 4. As part of our Engine team, you'll learn from experienced developers while working on cutting-edge technologies that push the boundaries of what's possible in open-world simulation games.
This is a role designed for someone at the start of their programming journey, so don't worry if you don't tick every box — a willingness to learn matters most to us.
Responsibilities:
Help fix bugs in software (game engine) under the guidance of senior colleagues
Make smaller adjustments to programs and the game engine
Participate in designing solutions and share your ideas
Learn new techniques and help improve workflows
Gradually take on tasks related to game mechanisms and gameplay
Get hands-on experience with new technologies
Cooperate with other departments and learn how they work
Requirements:
Knowledge of C++
Familiarity with the object-oriented programming
Willingness to learn and grow as a developer
Teamwork and communication skills
Good spoken and written English
Passion for video games
Welcomed Skills:
Any hands-on experience with game development (school, hobby, game jams, or personal projects)
Curiosity about how large codebases and game engines work
