Your Mission
As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting the month end and quarterly close processes, preparing annual accounts, and assisting in ad-hoc requests and projects across Activision, Blizzard and King. This role will need to work closely and collaboratively with local teams as well as teams in other ABK offices including Tax, Payroll, Procure to Pay, Treasury, Corporate Accounting, Accounting Shared Services and Legal.
Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
End to end statutory financial controller for various entities within the group and proactive management of external and internal audit requests
Posting of monthly journals including accruals, prepayments, reclasses
Monthly reporting to Corporate including KPI and commentary analysis
Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Partnering with the business to analyse costs within a number of functional areas
Continually seeking opportunities to drive process improvement and develop our key stakeholder relationships
Compliance with relevant SOX requirements and internal controls
Assist with special projects as they arise
Player Profile:
Qualified accountant with working experience
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Excellent time management, communication, and written skills
Experienced in preparing statutory reports
Can work autonomously
Eager to learn and expand the role
Able to establish and maintain strong relationships within Finance and with colleagues across the business
Bonus Points
Prior experience working with Oracle R12 and Hyperion
Working proficiency in Spanish, German, Polish or French is a plus
Experienced in technical accounting
