The Diablo IV team is looking for a Senior Game Designer who has an interest in creating compelling scripted repeatable content to help bring the world of Sanctuary to life as never seen before.
This role is anticipated to be a hybrid work position, with some work on-site and some work-from-home. The potential home studio for this role is Albany, NY or Irvine, CA.
Responsibilities
Design, build and maintain endlessly fun repeatable experiences
Be the point of contact for design and implementation working with various teams like engineering, design, art, and production
Assist in mentoring junior designers
Own the design vision of your content while also driving iteration based on feedback from your team, leadership, and the broader studio
Create and maintain clear and concise design documentation
Requirements
Experience
5+ years of game design experience
Experience playing games in the Diablo franchise
Key Attributes
Able to communicate effectively with engineering, design, art, and production
Ability to self-start and self-manage
Passion for repeatable content and systems
Expert grasp of what makes a fun activity in an action game
Ability to shepherd your ideas and vision from pitch to ship

Cross disciplinary skills
Strong familiarity with text-based scripting languages; preferably LUA
Strong understanding of isometric ARPG gameplay

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $80,800.00 - $149,400.00 Annual. This base pay range is for the U.S. and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
