As the Lead Localization Producer for Global Content Localization, you will play a key role in guiding our Global Content Localization Production team. Your role is critical in establishing and refining global content best practices and production methodologies. You will be entrusted with ensuring the consistency and effectiveness of our localization projects across various subject areas, guaranteeing that our goals and initiatives are met with excellence.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead a team of producers and project managers and provide mentorship, individual career planning, and long-term talent development.

  • Lead collaboration with other teams in Localization Production, Pillars, regional teams, and stakeholders.

  • Partner with Story and Franchise Development, Marketing, Publishing and B&OP teams to champion localization needs and requirements and to ensure Blizzard titles delight global fans.

  • Design and implement efficient and scalable end-to-end global contents localization frameworks in collaboration with other pillars and stakeholders.

  • Drive initiatives to foster innovation by analyzing current pain points in workflows and tools and leading efforts to achieve sustainable solutions.

  • Make independent decisions while working under pressure in potentially ambiguous and challenging situations.

  • Lead to define and improve global contents localization standards processes and production methodologies.

  • Communicates fluently with both localization and non-localization audiences and can present complex information to audiences with various types of expertise.

Requirements

  • A passion for video games and the art of localization.

  • Over 12 years of relevant work experience or an equivalent level of education and work experience in localization, preferably in a production, team leadership, or management role within the gaming or media entertainment industry.

  • Experience with people management and cross-team leadership role.

  • Expertise in end-to-end localization process for games, media, marketing, or software products

  • Experience with audiovisual localization workflows for subtitling and localized voiceover.

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to cultivate productive and positive relationships with external partners, managers, and peers.

  • Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Proven track record of managing complex localization projects with multiple stakeholders.

Advantages

  • Experience with localization platforms, file formats, TMS and CAT tools to manage and/or automate translation workflows.

  • You speak more than one language.

  • Familiarity with Blizzard games/IPs

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $97,200.00 - $179,900.00 Annual. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. Your Talent Professional can share this role’s range details for your local geography during the hiring process. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
