Product Management Leadership at Blizzard As a core part of our games’ leadership teams, successful Product Management leaders at Blizzard need an outstanding mix of quantitative and qualitative capabilities. This requires a unique combination of data-driven thinking to identify strategic opportunities, the creativity and passion to implement in player-centric ways, and the collaboration and ability to influence and align deeply hard-working and invested teams.

This role is anticipated to be a hybrid work position, with some work on-site and some work-from-home. The potential home studio for this role is Irvine, CA.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop the long-term product vision and strategy for Overwatch 2 maximizing player and franchise value

  • Establish clear goals and metrics across the franchise that ensure cross-functional alignment through both planning and execution

  • Lead all new monetization initiatives end-to-end, create and manage a feature roadmap while also maintaining and evolving existing monetization systems like Battle Pass, Mythic ecosystem and Shop

  • Collaborate closely with game designers, engineers, artists, and UX/UI specialists throughout both planning and execution of the product roadmap

  • Create high impact presentations, analysis and reporting keeping senior leadership informed about business performance and actively sharing valuable learnings across development, marketing and finance

  • Manage and mentor the product management team supporting and improving the existing high performance culture

  • Identify, quantify and prioritize game and feature opportunities together with senior leadership

  • Educate functional leaders on industry best-practices when it comes to new business models, live ops, content strategy, innovative features, and launches

What you bring to the table:

Minimum Requirements:

Experience

  • 8+ years of experience including product management, live ops' performance, monetization design, management consulting or equivalent experience; proven ability to lead product management teams

  • Experience with advanced business modeling and forecasting, business intelligence, project management and data visualization tools like SQL, Tableau, Confluence, etc.

  • Demonstrated data-driven decision making with intellectual humility and a passion for testing

  • Collaborative problem solver, structured and organized thinker, excellent written and spoken communications

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to manage sophisticated projects with diverse partners all over the world (subject areas, regions, etc.)

Knowledge & Skills

  • Deep knowledge of the key performance metrics that drive Free-to-Play Games-as-Service performance

  • Proven track record of planning and delivering monetization features and roadmaps

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $120,600.00 - $223,110.00 Annual. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. Your Talent Professional can share this role’s range details for your local geography during the hiring process. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
