Blizzard Entertainment is seeking a pro-active, motivated, and highly organized Administrative Assistant to support the Development Services team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will champion your team and drive team morale by planning epic department events, tracking budgets, processing contracts, and improving the office space. This position requires a critical thinker with an eye for detail and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support for teams located in multiple locations over several time zones.
Plan, organize, and execute department-wide events and meetings.
Procure and distribute team swag, both on site and to multiple satellite office locations.
Place, set up and/or deliver meal orders for multiple groups as needed.
Submit purchase requests; track and manage budgets.
Process new vendor contracts as well as maintain existing ones.
Craft written and visual department-wide communications.
Coordinate travel and logistics for tradeshows, conventions, and one-off business meetings.
Assist in the development of presentation materials using PowerPoint and other tools.
Pick up supplies and/or deliveries from shipping department, vendors or stores, and deliver/set up at events, meetings and team areas.
Support the Executive Assistant of Battle.net as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
2+ years of experience in a customer service or support role.
Handle multiple tasks simultaneously with a high level of initiative.
Communicate clearly and concisely in both written and verbal mediums.
Accomplish tasks with a detailed focus for all areas involved, no matter how small.
Make decisions and solve problems using sound, inclusive reasoning, and judgment.
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in an administrative assistant role.
Average proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Multi-tasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Experience using an internal messaging system such as Slack or Teams.
Experience using Concur or a similar software.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Self-starting personality with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize accordingly with minimal direction.
Pro-active mindset with a willingness to ask questions and improve processes.
Exceptional attention to detail as well as ability to see the big picture.
20-30% of the job requires ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs between buildings.
Pluses:
Experience with Slido and Miro.
Knowledge of Blizzard games and lore.

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $15.77 - $29.13 Hourly. This base pay range is for the U.S. and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
