About Us: We're a new VR gaming studio, dedicated to building AA games for the Meta Quest platform. We're launching our first game in a few months and are seeking an experienced Game Launch Marketer to lead marketing efforts for this launch, and potentially beyond.

Role Overview: The hire will be responsible for managing paid influencer marketing campaigns, overseeing ad management across various platforms, managing organic growth on social and non-social channels, and managing the website's FAQ and Q&A sections. This role involves developing and executing strategies to drive sales, maximize viewership, and increase community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Influencer Marketing:

  • Develop and execute the overall influencer marketing strategy for VR game launch.

  • Manage and optimize a budget for paid influencer relationships.

  • Negotiate contracts and collaborate with creators on YouTube, TikTok, and other platforms.

  • Generate viewership and momentum through influencer collaborations.

  • Target both large influencers and smaller influencers (2-50K followers) for broad and niche coverage.

  • Organize and promote a Gleam contest through influencers to drive social interactions and engagement.

2. Ads Management and Commercial Rights:

  • Obtain commercial rights for content produced during the campaign to repurpose as performance marketing assets.

  • Manage ad spend and campaigns on TikTok, Reddit, and Facebook.

  • Create and manage targeted Facebook ads campaigns using influencer-generated content to drive traffic to the Meta store page.

3. Organic Growth:

  • Develop strategies for organic growth on social media and non-social channels.

  • Post in targeted groups and forums (e.g., X, Meta, Reddit) multiple times per week and bump the posts to the top of the feed on subsequent days.

  • Engage in live conversations and non-intrusively introduce our brand.

  • Foster community engagement through regular interactions and updates.

4. Website and Community Management:

  • Oversee the management and updating of the website’s FAQ and Q&A sections.

  • Ensure accurate and helpful information is available to users, addressing common queries and concerns.

  • Engage with the community to provide support and gather feedback.

5. Collaboration and Reporting:

  • Work closely with the PR team and other stakeholders to align marketing strategies and efforts.

  • Provide regular updates on campaign performance, including metrics on reach, engagement, and sales attribution.

  • Assist with the preparation and execution of reports detailing the effectiveness of marketing activities.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in video game marketing, particularly within the VR.

  • Strong understanding of influencer marketing and social media campaign management.

  • Experience negotiating contracts and managing relationships with influencers.

  • Proficiency in managing ad campaigns on platforms like TikTok, Reddit, and Facebook.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Deep experience with VR technology and gaming.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage website content and community engagement.

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Ability to think outside the standard marketing approach and ideate creative marketing solutions

  • Ability to build game micro-website
