Are you a detail-oriented video editor who wants to do meaningful work, grow with a mission-driven team, and help gaming creators build a lasting legacy?

Our Company

Better Gamers is on a mission to help gaming creators build legacy through YouTube β€” and we are just getting started. Our vision is to see a global community of gaming creators have faith, build legacy, and reach billions together.

We are a faith-driven team that operates with Excellence, Integrity, Faith, Love, Unity, Stewardship, and Legacy at the core of everything we do β€” which means we treat people well, work with integrity, and care about the mission as much as the results. The gaming creator space is exploding, and we are building the team to lead it. If you want to do work that actually matters β€” this is your seat at the table.

The Role

We are looking for a video editor to join our team on a monthly retainer. You will edit 12 long-form YouTube videos and 20 short-form videos per month β€” roughly 15 to 20 hours of work per week β€” for $1,000/month. This is a remote, flexible role with a clear path to full-time for the right person who is committed, consistent, and wants to grow with us.

This Is For You If...

  • You genuinely enjoy editing gaming content and understand what makes it engaging on YouTube.
  • You follow creative briefs and brand guidelines closely β€” the details matter to you.
  • You communicate proactively and hit deadlines without needing to be chased.
  • You take full ownership of your work and bring quality even when no one is watching.
  • You align with our values and want to work somewhere that actually stands for something.
  • You are comfortable working in a faith-driven environment where integrity and character matter as much as skill.
  • You want a long-term home, not just a gig β€” and you are open to growing into a full-time role as the business grows.

This Is NOT For You If...

  • You skim creative briefs and fill in the gaps with your own assumptions.
  • Following a style guide or using approved assets feels restrictive to you.
  • You need multiple reminders to complete a deliverable or respond to feedback.
  • You do things your way even after being given clear direction.
  • You treat instructions as suggestions and correct only part of what is flagged.
  • You are looking for a one-off project or side income β€” we want someone who is all in and sees this as a real commitment.
  • You struggle to stay consistent under a steady monthly workload.

Qualifications

  • You have edited YouTube content before β€” long-form, short-form, or both. Gaming content is a plus.
  • You can handle pacing, cuts, music sync, captions, and basic motion graphics without needing hand-holding.
  • You can reliably deliver 12 long-form and 20 short-form edits per month without dropping the ball.
  • You know your way around Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or something comparable β€” and you are fast.
  • You can take a style guide, match an existing look and feel, and use approved assets without going rogue.
  • You say what you will do and then you do it β€” your word means something.

What Our Team Says

"Amazing Experience" β€” Sannan Tariq, YouTube Producer

"I've been working with Riley for the past 5 months, and it's been an amazing experience… The best thing about Riley's methods is that he uses the scientific method, not just gut feelings. He's kind, cooperative, polite, and down-to-earth."

What Our Clients Say

"Views Had Indisputably Improved" β€” Kandyrew, YouTube Creator

"Before hiring Riley, my channel had a slight shift in production value, but views still weren't there… After 3 months, views had indisputably improved, which I felt was a direct result of working with Riley and his team. Riley was polite, professional, incredibly organized, and disciplined."

How To Apply
