Job Overview

As a Project Manager at AMG, you will play a critical role in the effective planning, execution, and completion of various projects supporting our gaming clients, such as influencer events, esports, and in-person activations. Your organizational skills, attention to detail, and understanding of the gaming industry will be essential in coordinating internal resources and executing events that resonate with our community of content creators.

Your primary responsibility will be to manage the logistics and details of our events, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. You will collaborate with various teams within the organization, including our Creative, Production, and Procurement departments, to deliver exceptional results that meet the needs of our community and exceed the expectations of our clients.

Responsibilities & Duties

Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
Oversee creative, production and competitive operations for a variety of gaming events
Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress
Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
Report and escalate to management as needed
Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Coordinate with the Creative, Production, and Procurement teams to ensure resources are effectively utilized
Ideate on and execute regular monthly and quarterly events within the community program
Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
Review internal work product for quality and consistency, ensuring all items meet project/client requirements

Qualifications

REQUIRED: Proven working experience as a project coordinator or manager in the gaming space, or esports event related experience
REQUIRED: Strong understanding of the gaming ecosystem and events
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong working knowledge of the cloud-based G-Suite software
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
A team player with the ability to work independently when required
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically while managing complex projects
BONUS: Experience with brand management and content creation
BONUS: Experience or proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite
BONUS: Mandarin or Spanish fluency
