Your Mission:

We are seeking a dedicated Senior ML Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our in-game personalization systems using ground breaking machine learning techniques. Your expertise in Python programming, and ML model building, particularly with bandit algorithms, will be instrumental in driving personalized gaming experiences for our users.

Responsibilities:

Design ML production systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure system stability.

  • Implement and optimize Airflow DAGs (Directed Acyclic Graphs) to automate data pipelines and model deployments.

  • Collaborate closely with game developers, data engineers, and product managers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of models to ensure accuracy, stability, and scalability.

  • Monitor and evaluate model performance in production, continuously refining and improving algorithms based on real-world data and feedback.

  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in machine learning and gaming industry trends, incorporating best practices into our systems.

  • Build error-handling mechanisms to ensure system stability.

Player Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

  • 2-5 years of hands-on experience as a Machine Learning Engineer, with a proven track record of developing and deploying ML models in production environments.

  • Strong proficiency in Python programming and familiarity with relevant libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).

  • Experience designing and implementing Airflow DAGs for data pipelines and workflow automation.

  • Solid understanding of bandit algorithms and their application in reinforcement learning and online decision-making.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-functional team environment, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Prior experience in the gaming industry or other dynamic, data-driven environments is a plus.

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $92,920.00 - $171,814.00 Annual. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. Your Talent Professional can share this role’s range details for your local geography during the hiring process. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
