We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Talent Acquisition Leader to partner with Activision Blizzard Media (ABM), an embedded business unit of King. ABM delivers innovative, impactful and rewarding advertising experiences to our huge audience of highly- engaged players across Activision, Blizzard and King whilst creating powerful marketing solutions for the world's biggest marketers.

This role will play an integral part in building Talent Acquisition representation and partnership at a local level with key leadership partners in the San Francisco, Bay Area, with an expectation of in person meetings on a regular basis.

Reporting directly to SVP, Talent Acquisition you will be responsible for managing a hard-working talent acquisition team, driving innovative recruitment strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional partners to attract top-tier talent to ABM. Your strong leadership skills and hands-on approach to talent acquisition will be instrumental in ensuring the team delivers the hiring demand and fostering a culture of excellence.

Your role within the Kingdom

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and implement talent acquisition strategies aligned with ABM’s short-term and long-term business goals.

  • Work with senior leadership to understand current and future talent needs and provide innovative solutions to attract top talent.

  • Team Management: Lead a small team of local recruiters, providing leadership and guidance to ensure the delivery of high-quality recruitment solutions across the business unit.

  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, providing coaching, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to improve their potential and growth.

  • Ensure standard processes are followed in job analysis, candidate sourcing, assessment, selection, and offer negotiation.

  • Continuously work with managers across the business to support and drive all recruitment related processes, topics, and priorities.

  • Work closely with HR Centres of Excellence (CoE) to resolve complex and challenging problems through innovative and agile thinking i.e Sourcing, Candidate Experience teams etc

  • Use data analytics and recruitment metrics to make informed talent acquisition decisions, identify areas for improvement, and measure the effectiveness of recruitment strategies.

  • Embed yourself as an integral part of the extended BU leadership team. Collaborate closely with HR Business Partners and senior leadership to understand their talent needs, align recruitment strategies, and proactively address workforce requirements.

  • Metrics and Reporting: Develop and track key talent acquisition metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and make data-driven decisions.

  • Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives within the talent acquisition process to foster an inclusive and diverse workforce. Collaborate with HR and Diversity Leads to ensure diversity goals are met for ABM and ultimately King.

  • Partnering with the Sourcing teams to implement proactive talent pipelining strategies to maintain a steady pool of qualified candidates for critical and future roles, ensuring the organization has access to top talent at all times.

  • Stay up-to-date with labor laws and regulations, ensuring the company's recruitment practices align with local and federal employment laws.

  • Collaborate with the central EB team to enhance ABM’s employer brand through various channels, such as social media, career fairs, networking events, and employer review platforms.

Skills to create thrills

  • Proven experience in full-cycle recruitment within the technology industry, preferably within a matrix organizational structure.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.

  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other HR-related software - ideally WDR.

  • Passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion, with a commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace.

  • Solid understanding of talent acquisition best practices, innovative sourcing techniques, and emerging trends in the recruitment landscape.

  • Demonstrated success in building and leading hard-working recruitment teams.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with partners at all levels.

  • Data-driven attitude, with experience using HR analytics and metrics to drive recruitment decisions.

  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting to changing business needs.

  • Critical thinking and the ability to align talent acquisition initiatives for your BU with overall TA and business goals.

  • High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

  • Proximity to SF Office for regular in person connects with partners and team.

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $116,800.00 - $216,000.00 Annual. This base pay range is for the U.S. and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
