What We Need

The Product Marketing Manager will lead global marketing efforts as part of a team bringing premium quality free-to-play mobile titles to market.

The ideal candidate has a strong focus on delivering and executing innovative marketing strategies, mastering and analyzing key performance indicators to deliver on business goals, and leading communications and prioritization among a diverse set of cross-functional teams.

What You Will Do

Marketing Campaign Strategy and Execution

  • Lead marketing plan development and execution across paid, earned, shared, and owned channels supporting worldwide launches, content updates, and in-game promotions.

  • Work closely with our Product team to understand the development roadmap, identify key selling points, and provide recommendations for marketing plans and support.

  • Collaborate with Product, Data Science, UA, Partnerships, and Communication teams to deliver fully integrated marketing plans supporting the growth of the Mobile Sports portfolio.

  • Drive the development of new promotional programs and help identify marketing best practices within and outside of the gaming industry to effectively promote our products.

  • Conduct competitive marketing analyses to provide sound marketing recommendations

Creative Positioning and Asset Development

  • Define positioning, messaging, audience strategy, and supporting assets throughout the product’s lifecycle across all channels and campaigns.

  • Own the development of all marketing-related content created in partnerships with internal and external creative resources -- test, learn, and iterate to improve creative performance.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive hypotheses and innovative media tactics that push the business forward.

KPI Development and Mastery

  • Identify, understand, and master key performance indicators of business goal success.

  • Lead consistent funnel testing efforts to improve user acquisition efforts: A/B test creative, audience, channel, etc.

  • Monitor budgets and performance across all campaigns and report on campaign performance to key stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with Data Science and Product teams to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and formulate recommendations to help drive long-term strategic planning.

What Will Make You a Great Fit

  • 5+ years of product marketing experience with at least 2 years of marketing mobile free-to-play titles.

  • Marketing & strategic analysis skills with an ability to map an understanding of business drivers.

  • Ability to take ownership and responsibility for projects.

  • Anticipates problems and then guides the teams as necessary.

  • Rally partners and cross-functional teams to strive to achieve the desired business goals.

  • Strong understanding of the full marketing mix.

  • Ability to learn new markets/tech/trends quickly and adjust to changes in market dynamics and fast-paced landscapes.

  • Innovative mindset and approach to try new things

Bonus Points

  • Passionate about Gaming and Sports.

  • Familiar with 2K IPs, including NBA and WWE among others.

  • Experience working with developers and licensors.

The pay range for this position in California at the start of employment is expected to be between $105,000 and $135,000 per Year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an 'at-will position' and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
