What We Do

We are seeking an organized and diligent Digital Asset Manager Librarian to join 2K’s in-house global Creative Studio team. As a Digital Asset Manager Librarian, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management, organization, maintenance and governance of our digital assets in accordance with Adobe Experience Manager. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable and facilitate the processes in the creation, tracking, metadata and effective distribution of assets across various platforms.

What You'll Do

  • Digital Asset Management: Develop and maintain a robust digital asset management system within Adobe Experience Manager, including organizing, categorizing, and cataloging digital files such as images, videos, documents, and other media assets; including bulk asset ingestion.

  • Metadata Management: Manage Adobe Workfront to create and implement metadata structures and standards to enhance asset discoverability, ensuring consistent metadata tagging for effective asset retrieval, including bulk add metadata and bulk export metadata.

  • Content Migration: Oversee and manage the transition of our current digital asset storage from Google Drive to our dedicated AEM DAM system

  • Asset Tracking and Inventory: Monitor asset ingestion and usage, track licenses, and maintain an up-to-date inventory of digital assets. Ensure compliance with standards as requirements such as: naming conventions, folder structures, storage allocation etc.

  • Asset Security and Permissions: Implement and enforce system access controls and permissions to safeguard 2K’s digital assets, maintaining data integrity and confidentiality.

  • Workflow Optimization: Streamline asset management workflows, finding opportunities for automation, process improvements, and integration with other tools and systems.

  • Asset Lifecycle Management: Monitor the lifecycle of digital assets, from creation to archiving. Identify outdated or redundant assets for removal or archival, freeing up space and ensuring the library remains current.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders, including creative teams, marketing, content creators, and external vendors, to understand asset needs and provide efficient solutions.

  • Training and Support: Conduct training sessions and provide ongoing support to users regarding the digital asset management system, standard processes, and guidelines. Gather and log feedback from DAM viewers for continued improvements and optimizations.

  • System Maintenance: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with IT support or vendors to ensure system reliability, scalability, and backups.

  • Optimize Industry Trends: Keep up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital asset management to drive continuous improvement, innovation, and provide recommendation to DAM administrator and team.

What Will Make You A Great Fit

  • Bachelor's degree in information science, library science, digital media, or a related field

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience

  • Strong experience and knowledge of digital asset management systems, metadata standards, taxonomy, and rights management

  • Proficiency with Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Workfront, Creative Cloud, and Google Suites

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and navigate multiple projects simultaneously

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in asset cataloging, metadata tagging, and tracking

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify workflow bottlenecks and propose effective solutions

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and provide user support
