We are looking for a Product Manager to own key cross-promotion projects and communication channels with numerous gaming studio partners as well as ensure timely delivery of new features and reporting. This role is a high visibility role as you get to work with every single game team across Zynga. You will play a key role in developing, planning, and implementing strategic team-wide initiatives as well as owning smaller tactical projects.

You will also be responsible for crafting Zynga’s cross-promotion toolkit used by our across-the Zynga portfolio of games. You’ll partner with external suppliers, internal groups, and game teams to define & prioritize requirements, balance multiple commitments for execution while facilitating trade-offs along the way. You’ll be experienced at driving execution day to day whilst proactively spotting areas for improvement, then energetically driving those improvements to successful completion.

The day-to-day will typically be 40% driving cross-promotion initiatives, 40% ad campaign management, and 20% analytics, and reporting.

Examples of the types of projects you will own are tools for campaign attribution, ad delivery and incentivization, initiatives for new game launches, and adding and leveling up cross-promotion placements in each game title at Zynga. You will have a background in product management / cross-promotion / advertising monetization/user acquisition and have a passion for using technology to deliver compelling experiences to players.

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the full product lifecycle, from gathering requirements, prioritizing features, analyzing the competitive landscape, writing specifications, achieving collaborator alignment, and chipping in to the team roadmap
  • Exhibit sound product judgment, ability to formulate product strategy, and present clear measurable objectives that will lead to achieving our business goals
  • Ability to balance player, partner, and business interests while considering technical integration trade-offs
  • Keep the team informed on development results, schedule, and changes via regular status reports. Identify and project risks and work with partner teams to develop mitigation plans
  • Coordinate external dependencies with supporting organizations across the company
  • Collaborate closely with other technical leaders within Zynga to drive best practices and positive team culture
  • Define how we will measure the success and efficiency of products and track quality. Leverage qualitative consumer insights and quantitative data to inform decisions
  • Encouraged to provide valuable input into business cases based on in-depth data analysis and demonstrate how that analysis impacts key product metrics
  • Becoming familiar and eventually an expert in using our internal tools for setting up and running promotional advertising campaigns
  • Setting up, ramping, and analyzing experiments and A/B tests

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 3 years of product management experience or software development projects
  • Previous product management experience in mobile, adtech, and/or gaming
  • Experienced using Excel to track, model, and analyze data
  • Experience with data analytics, specifically working with analysts and pulling data via defined SQL queries, and interpreting the results
  • Ability to create product designs, specifications, and business cases
  • Experience working in an agile environment and implementing processes for agile development
  • Strong negotiation, communication and conflict resolution skills
  • A high degree of initiative, takes chances to create improvements

DESIRABLE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Experience with Tableau and other dashboard software
  • Knowledge of cross-promotion and other performance marketing
  • Prior work experience in the video games industry
