Role Overview

You will work with some of the biggest content creators, influencers and celebrities in the gaming space as we rapidly scale our post-production and social media management offering. The role will require excellent knowledge and understanding of all social media platforms, the ability to oversee a small but growing social media team, and the ability to communicate effectively cross-company.

As we’re scaling out our social media management offering to clients, we need a Head of Social to take the reins, helping us accelerate our ability to scale quickly whilst offering clients an S Tier experience of partnering with us. We want a self-motivated go-getter who can proactively help us build out our service offering, help with execution and strategy and really help craft how our social business looks in 3 to 5 years time. This is a ground floor hire and you will have the autonomy to really make this role your own, as well as impose your thoughts and personality on how we deliver social media services cross-company.

Responsibilities

  • Work with relevant stakeholders to create processes and strategies around our social offering that will scale for years to come
  • Design social media strategies and campaigns for creators and brands worldwide
  • Oversee our entire social offering
  • Having a deep understanding of the gaming space
  • Keeping your finger on the pulse with the breadth of popular games (as well as some less popular!) whilst building the campaigns and long term strategies for our clients
  • Understanding that one size does not fit all, and having the confidence and knowledge to create campaigns and strategies that are specific to the creator
  • Design media strategies and media usage throughout execution of your social media strategy, liaising with our Media team for whatever is needed
  • Running frequent social media analysis on campaigns or the current strategy & previous posts to make sure we’re iteratively improving on a frequent basis
  • Research and evaluate the ever moving social media ecosystem and potential upcoming competitors to what is already available, as well as the current trends on already existing and popular platforms
  • Oversee and drive the content calendar for each brand or creator we work with

Requirements

  • Fantastic use of the English language in both a professional written and casual written form, second language a plus but not required
  • Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or a related field in terms of work experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a managing a social media team, preferably with agency experience previously
  • Extensive working knowledge of the commonly used softwares used for measurement, tracking, analysis and reporting of social media channels performance
  • Brilliant interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to communicate effectively cross-team, but also across our small but growing company of video editors and designers
  • An exceptional understanding of all major social media platforms, including but not limited to; YouTube, Twitter, Twitch, TikTok, Instagram & Facebook
