Overview

Bethesda.net has an opening for a well-rounded senior level production candidate to join our platform team. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a constant drive to continuously improve, and proven experience successfully managing complex projects across multiple teams. It’s a fast-paced and frequently evolving role that requires individuals who are comfortable decoding ambiguity and fostering self-organizing teams.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Product Owners to collaborate with game studios and stakeholders (Marketing/Sales/Community/etc) to define your teams features and roadmap
  • Drive development teams and execute on the vision, all the while removing impediments and mitigating risks to the timelineKeep stakeholders and leadership in the know, ensuring they’re aware of progress and risks
  • Create and own internal team processes! When it just isn’t jiving with your team, they can rely on you to identify and facilitate improvingIdentify, communicate, and track cross team dependencies
  • Develop metrics for work distribution and productivity measurements to drive improvement
  • Mentor and help level up our Associate Producers and Producers
  • Make priority-based decisions for resource assignment
  • Accountable for initiative-based budget planning and tracking
  • Identify improvement projects across the organization and drive them to resolution
  • Facilitate and strengthen communication and relationships between multiple offices

Qualifications

  • 7+ yrs. in a producer/project management role with at least 4+ years in a mid to senior level role
  • Knowledgeable in modern development methodologies (Agile/Waterfall/etc)
  • You have experience leading multiple teams, and can manage both the day-to-day as well as driving long term strategies
  • Experience building and managing complex schedules across multiple teams
  • Able to tailor communication effectively across all levels of the organization, from engineering to director level, both internally and externally
  • You embrace challenges as opportunities to grow and are constantly looking for ways to improve not only yourself but the across the organization
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Optimistic, self-motivated, and a strong sense of ownership
  • Ability to quickly prioritize and adapt to changing priorities
  • Flexibility to work with teams in different time zones
  • Have a strong sense of empathy
