The Senior Marketing Manager will devise company and product marketing strategies for the UK market. The Senior Marketing Manager will work closely with the brand and sales teams to ensure the UK business group reaches its commercial objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and develop communications, advertising, promotional and PR programs to achieve sales of Bethesda games in the UK market.
  • Consult closely with the UK and Marketing Director, & European Marketing teams, legal, and finance regarding strategic planning, creative execution and media planning.
  • Work very closely with UK sales team providing for all asset needs and driving timetables. Assist with organisation and attend Trade Events. Be product representative at key sales presentations.
  • Build a world class AAA launch campaign aligned to company goals for each of our new titles
  • Develop communication strategy of the product (ATL, BTL, digital, community, PR, packaging, consumer ratings, POP, channel).
  • Keep up to date with advances in social media technology and the latest social media platforms, working closely with the UK Community Manager.
  • Stay on top of marketing communications trends and competitor activity to deliver best-in-class campaigns.
  • Manage strategic distribution of product assets (trailers, demos, screenshots, etc.)
  • Secure Brand, First Party and other co-op partnerships to expand products sales and lifecycle.
  • Work up costs and expenditures for UK campaigns for P&L planning. Conduct post-launch sales reviews and re-promotion strategies to ensure products reach or exceed targets, including profit and loss analysis.
  • Manage product lifecycle to maximise profitability in all territories and via all programs
  • Contribute positively within appropriate BMT group and feedback to UK Publishing Team
  • Direct incumbent media agency through a clear brief, perfect execution and detailed post campaign analysis
  • Such other duties as may be set forth by the company

Qualifications

  • At least seven-year’s experience of bringing videogames to market
  • Intimate, in-depth knowledge of the UK market, its retail component and its digital evolution
  • Good contacts and awareness of the specialist games press. Good knowledge of growing influence of social media
  • Leadership role in the campaign of at least one AAA game. Budget responsibility above and below the line
  • Full life cycle exposure to a major game in the UK or European market including catalogue sales
  • Passion for games and game playing
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Degree with additional Marketing qualification or MBA
