ZENIMAX MEDIA IS A VIDEO GAME PUBLISHER WHO CREATE AND SELL PREMIUM VIDEO GAME TITLES TO A RAPIDLY GROWING WORLDWIDE MARKET.

The successful PR Manager will create and execute programs to generate positive editorial coverage for the Company’s products, business activities, and initiatives through multiple communication vehicles, including: media relations, industry conferences, events, as well as community and content platforms in Australia and New Zealand.

Responsibilities will cover: development of strategy, press releases, interviews, story pitches and placement, media relations, press tours, and staffing game conventions.

The PR Manager will work closely with the communications and marketing teams, both locally and internationally; and effectively utilise knowledge of the company’s games and media landscape to assist the Communications Manager / Marketing Manager bringing games to market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, manage and implement ANZ Communications plans for all titles, ensuring input and approvals have been achieved by all relevant teams.
  • Work with the ANZ Marcoms Team to create a Communications plan that benefits the ANZ team.
  • Build up an extensive contact list.
  • Create and maintain a comprehensive press database that covers all aspects of the ANZ media landscape.
  • Build personal relationships with ANZ press and influencers.
  • Show an understanding and awareness of competition, both from a PR and marketing campaign perspective, and of product quality.
  • Manage ANZ agencies, from day-to-day, through to their feature executions.
  • Contribute to the commercial success of ZeniMax AU
  • Develop close relationships with the European and local marketing teams to achieve and execute a detailed ANZ Communications campaign.
  • Help support the ANZ Marcoms Team with event management, community meet-and-greets and trade shows as part of the organisations yearly marketing plans.
  • Ability to brief in every area of a project including creative, print and technical as well as Co-ordinating & managing communications with internal & external teams.
  • Complete event project management including but not limited to –
  • Logistics Management & full day to day operation of all events.
  • Manage & Negotiate all third-party suppliers/agencies to ensure seamless delivery of all aspects of the event.
  • Contribute to the development of creative solutions & ideas for each event.
  • Working with sponsors / partnerships / stakeholders.
  • To actively build on corporate and community relationships & opportunities.
  • Budget management.
  • On-site management & Risk management.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 4+ years’ experience in all aspects of PR and Event Management in entertainment industries.
  • Strong writing, verbal, reporting and problem-solving skills
  • High level of proven time management, planning & organisational skills.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships (internal, external as well as experience managing an agency) with excellent communication skills.
  • Highly organised and accurate, with flexibility to adapt to a changing environment and manage workflow and priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Proven trouble shooting experience with the ability to remain level-headed under pressure.
  • An understanding of risk management and relevant experience delivering safe, secure and successful events and festivals.
  • Knowledge of Bethesda and competitor products.
  • Creative thinking to help shape events and communications plans.
  • Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment.
  • Excellent people management skills.
  • Ability to adapt to the GaaS model as well as Free to Play and Mobile Titles.
