ESSENTIAL PRE-REQUISITES

  • Recent Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Communications, English, Marketing or related field of study, or currently in progress.
  • Must have full working rights in Australia.
  • Familiarity with PC applications and tracking tools: Microsoft Office Suite for Windows (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Photoshop, LevelUp, etc.
  • Knowledge of and interest in video games and entertainment industries.

ZeniMax Media is a Video Game Publisher who create & sell premium video game titles to a rapidly growing world market.

The company's growing library of intellectual properties includes such major franchises as The Elder Scrolls®, Fallout®, DOOM®, RAGE®, Wolfenstein®, Prey®, Dishonored®, The Evil Within®, and QUAKE®.

THE ROLE:

ZeniMax Australia, is currently seeking a paid intern for its Sydney-based Marketing department.

The program will run for at least twelve (12) months and candidates can expect to work up to 40 hours per week.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and well-organised graduate, with an interest to pursue a career in corporate communications, to gain hands-on, practical experience and learn the necessary skills to succeed in both communications and the interactive entertainment industries. You will learn about the multiple facets of public relations and community management in a creative, dynamic, and challenging environment.

This role will support the ANZ communications team in driving the local PR strategy for the entire portfolio of Bethesda titles in the ANZ region.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collect press clips and prepare coverage reports
  • Prepare written press materials under the Communications team supervision
  • Provide logistical and live support for internal and industry events
  • Work with analytics to help drive comprehensive qualitative and quantitative recaps of press coverage
  • Work as part of a team to help build on CSR and other corporate initiatives
  • Manage internal databases including market trends and analysis
  • Perform administrative and clerical duties including research projects, media database management and product mailings
  • Draft and oversee key communication material for press including pitch letters, reviews material, event invitations, and asset delivery
  • Assist the community team with content creator, ideas, and reporting
