This position will be a key member of the Information Technology Security team and work closely with other business units to secure data in highly diverse development and corporate environments. Candidates should have experience discovering, cataloging, and protecting sensitive information, including monitoring and preventing data exfiltration. Experience in the gaming industry and its unique data security challenges is a plus.
Responsibilities
Support and validate the discovery of sensitive information residing within data repositories (e.g., GitHub, network drives, databases) across the organization
Provide technical expertise in protecting sensitive information from inadvertent disclosure and exfiltration while in-transit and at-rest
Develop and implement automated processes to align with corporate data policies
Work with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and security policies
Act as an advisor on data retention, classification, and security
Assist in creating and maintaining technical documents, including policies, procedures, and standards
Qualifications
3+ years data or security engineering experience
Experience planning, deploying, managing, and maintaining data security tools and programs
Strong engineering and troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of threat and vulnerability vectors impacting hosts and networks
Proven ability to communicate with varied company stakeholders utilizing excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience working with regulatory frameworks such as GDPR and CCPA
Preferred Skills
Experience with Data Governance or Data Compliance standards
Previous game industry experience
Certifications in one or more of the following: CIPP, CIPT, GSEC, CCSP, CISSP, CISA, or Security+
