Zebra Partners is a fast growing and well-respected US and global communications and marketing firm. Our expertise is in gaming, VR and new technology. We are looking for a Marketing Account Coordinator for a full-time position focused on supporting our video gaming clients. We need someone who is passionate about gaming and technology, ready to dive in, work hard and has tons of initiative. The person we hire must be able to work virtually the majority of the time with in person meetings on occasion.

We need a Coordinator who can handle the incoming requests from several partners and other team members, keeping them in priority order. The goal is to ensure your hours are busy and productive but a load that you can handle. We work on short timelines and also long-lead programs for various client teams.

The role is varied and exciting with the primary focus on helping to execute marketing and PR activities for gaming and technology clients. This individual will help with research, stay on top of gaming and esports trends, join team brainstorm sessions, help with ideation and plan development and execution for projects and campaigns. They will drive and manage our media and influencer lists, help identify those that have the best following and are the best fit with our clients and will grow into a position where they help with outreach/engagement. They will prepare press announcements, organize online documents for team use, and collect and produce monthly media coverage reports. They will take notes and serve up next steps following all team and client meetings. They will also help with client and new business research, organization and execution of viral programs and social media campaigns, and may help with vendor relations, and event coordination and planning.

Zebra Partners is based in Seattle but has a virtual office with team members in New York, San Diego/LA, San Francisco, Connecticut, Orlando and Austin. This offers the benefit of having team members to work with around the country the flexibility of an at-home-office which removes commute time from your day-to-day schedule. Ideal candidates are in Seattle or Austin; however, we are open to candidates from other cities in the U.S.

Title: Marketing Account Coordinator

Requirements include:

  • Professional experience of two or more years in the field of PR and marketing
  • Experience and passion for video games or consumer technology required, mobile highly desired
  • Strong organization/project management skills - one who can work in a tight schedule
  • Professional, personable, able to think on their feet and create order from ambiguity
  • Must be self-motivated, full of initiative, and be able to work independently
  • Highly communicative; ability to present ideas succinctly and firmly; excellent written and verbal skills
  • Proficient in Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.), other software and communications tools (experience with media databases i.e.; Cision, MuckRack, a plus)
  • Ability to conduct extensive research for clients, competitive categories and new business efforts
  • Strong social media skills and understands methods and how to use them to support clients

Desirables:

  • PR or Marketing agency experience
  • Demonstrable experience delivering business results in social media

Rate: Monthly salary commensurate with experience
