If you are an ambitious game developer with UE4 experience who wants to join us in realizing a new gaming idea, then we have an excellent career opportunity for you!
Together with some partners in the Dutch gaming industry we have taken up the idea to develop and launch a new type of role-playing game. In the coming months we will start developing a prototype of the idea and if successful, roll into the production of a first version.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Senior Game Developer who wants to be part of our journey and build this new idea with us. As a Senior Game developer, you will technically design and implement new gameplay features to the game. You will be working with a small team of developers and designers.
We are a young startup company in the Amsterdam region. We are currently setting up our development team, so you will have a strong influence in defining the way of working within the team and of course on the end result!

Your Key Responsibilities
- Creation of game mechanics with Unreal Engine
- Creation of supporting systems such as development tools and distribution systems
- Participate in brainstorm sessions to further elaborate on all aspects the game
- Review of programming/art work created by team members
Requirements
- Pro-active and used to taking ownership and responsibility;
- Modern software engineering mindset
- Understanding of 3D Math/physics
- HBO bachelor or similar in Game Development, Software Engineering, or Computer Science
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in the games industry;
- Experienced with C++/Unreal
- Fluent English speaker and writer;
