Position Overview

Calling all game lovers! We are looking for a Localization QA to test linguistic quality within our games and ensure that the correct terminology and glossaries are used. There may be times where you need to translate the text so that more people across the world can experience the game. You’ll have the opportunity to be the first person to try out our games before launch! The type of job is part-time and the workplace is in Shanghai or overseas remote work.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Test YOOZOO group products for linguistic accuracy.
• Identify language issues and report them.
• Suggest fixes for bugs in the specified product.
• Translate texts and articulate ideas to adhere to the local culture and market.

Job requirements

• Bachelor or above degree.
• Native speakers of Portuguese or French or German.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with in-game LQA or translation experience.
• Great attention to details and the ability to multi-task.
• Strong linguistic skills, with experience in QC/ Editing / Proofreading / QA / Translation / Localization and Interpretation.
• Must follow language guidelines and glossary to keep consistency throughout the product.
• Up-to-date awareness of current and common technical language usage in the target language.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English required.
• Be a subject matter expert for linguistic issues in the target language; can research and resolve linguistic questions.
