Yodo1 is a global games company on a mission. Today, our Managed Ad Services (MAS) platform is helping nearly one thousand developers around the world improve their mobile game monetization. In 2021, we expand to ten thousand.
We need a Head of Ad Monetization to help us innovate our ad monetization strategies and scale MAS to improve revenue for thousands of developers across mature and emerging markets.
You will have the opportunity to learn and grow by:
- Testing your skills on a wide variety of games;
- Mastering monetization in multiple markets, including emerging regions such as South East Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East/North Africa;
- Working with the best on monetization in the massive Chinese market.

What does success look like?
Our goal at Yodo1 is to help game developers make the most money they can from in-game ads. As Head of Ad Monetization, your success will be measured by:
- Innovating ad monetization for games using our MAS platform, finding new ways to increase eCPM and fill rate performance as well as traffic and quality impressions.
- Introducing and incorporating new ad formats that out-perform the market.
- Owning and cultivating relationships with all key ad mediation platforms and negotiating with the industry’s leading ad providers to get the best commercial terms (such as revenue share, fill rate, and guarantees) for game developers using MAS.
- Creating and publishing best practices on in-game ad monetization to help developers on MAS design and implement better techniques inside their games.
What you’ll be doing:
- Researching and testing new ad networks/mediations;
- Staying up-to-date on the industry’s monetization trends and applying them to our practical operations;
- Optimizing ad impression strategies and ad types;
- Driving the continuous improvement of our MAS monetization performance;
- Making our ad network configuration and monetization optimization more automated and more efficient.
Must-have skills:
- Ad monetization: excellent globally; experience in T3 countries preferred;
- A/B testing: defining goals, conducting tests, and making accurate analysis reports to guide monetization decision-making;
- Networking: maintaining strong relationships with various ad networks to seek support and get their latest product and tech updates;
- Management: handling multiple projects, tasks, and teams, prioritizing, and working proactively to lead team creation and cross-team cooperation;
- Character: innovative and self-motivated, good at problem-solving, result-oriented, stress-resistant, and challenge-hungry.
