As People & Culture Generalist at YAGER you will:

  • Focus on managing day-to-day HR administration including HR master data, payroll, benefits, time off, contracts, and compliance
  • Support the Talent Acquisition Team and hiring managers in recruiting by screening and interviewing candidates as needed in order to achieve recruiting goals in a timely manner
  • Oversee employee on- and off-boarding, including work permit applications and relocation support
  • Manage employee relations and act as a focal point for any internal issues that arise
  • Ensure effective internal communication of people and organization related topics
  • Implement and improve our people policies and processes to ensure continuous improvement of our employee experience
  • Initiate and take the lead on activities that contribute to positive company culture, health & wellness, and strong employee engagement
  • Ensure high quality of employee experience in alignment with YAGER’s values and with the goal of making YAGER among the best places to work in the games industry

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years HR experience (preferably in the Tech Sector, specifically Games or Digital Entertainment are a plus!)
  • Analytical and detail-oriented with a high dose of curiosity
  • Highly empathetic people person with a growth mindset, great stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Skilled and interested in working with digital HR tools, you are result-oriented and enjoy using tech to find savvy solutions and follow-through on their implementation
  • Passionate about providing fast, professional and constructive HR support to our teams
  • Good understanding of German labor market and labor laws
  • Fluent in German and English

Nice to have:

  • Business acumen: understanding of P&L, budgeting, KPIs, and OKRs
  • Knowledge of or interest in computer games
  • Experience doing public speaking or leading workshops

Employment details:

  • Full-time and on-site (Due to the current Corona Pandemic this is not possible)
  • Start: as soon as possible
