As a Level Designer for our unannounced project, you are responsible for creating levels both in open world and linear spaces that support exciting co-op gameplay. This role will work closely with art, narrative and gameplay to deliver challenging combat, meaningful exploration, and memorable player experiences.

Responsibilities

• Blockout, build, playtest, and tune 3D levels through all phases of development
• Craft memorable combat encounters, and work with gameplay designers to hone these experiences to perfection
• Create fun gameplay spaces focused on the game’s core mechanics
• Collaborate with art and narrative to deliver environmental and scripted storytelling through our levels

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as a level designer
• Strong understanding of level design principles and theory
• Unreal game engine experience
• Multiplayer level design experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A desire to grow, learn, and improve as a designer
• Positive, enthusiastic, team-oriented attitude

Desirable skills

• Co-op level design experience
• Open world level design experience
• Scripting experience, for example with Unreal Blueprint
