Job Description

WorldGaming currently has an opening for the position of Manager, Client Services and Sales Support reporting to the Executive Director, Sponsorships and Partnerships Sales. This position will be based at our WorldGaming office located at 1300 Yonge Street in Toronto, Ontario.

The key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Manage to the highest quality execution and professionalism all client sponsorship activations and integrations (media placements and live event) for WGN and CSL campaigns and events
  • Work with business development team to confirm client campaign objectives and set the proper expectations with both the client and internal WG team(s)
  • Work with required departments (marketing, development, production, operations, etc.) to ensure all contracted campaign elements and client objectives are being satisfied
  • Work with business development team to generate & revise proposals, contracts, and where needed help close client sales opportunities
  • Ensure all creative is delivered on time, is executed properly, and meets all client requirements
  • Manage contesting and promotional executions, monitor progress and provide full report of deliveries/results upon completion, when required
  • Manage on-site client/brand activations and integrations (for WGN ‘live’ events), ensuring thorough and complete client satisfaction with the involved activation
  • Act as client liaison during all ‘live’ events and activations
  • Create and disseminate weekly client status and executional reporting to all involved parties
  • Track campaign milestones and deliverables, ensure on-time delivery
  • Coordinate and generate campaign ‘wrap’ and recap reports
  • Additional tasks as required by Executive Director of Business Development and other WGN and CSL managers
  • Assist with any additional information needed by the client

Qualifications

Education:

A post-secondary education at the college/graduate school level

Skills & Experience:

The role requires a person who is extremely detail-oriented, accurate, organized, self-motivated, and has an all-around positive attitude. The ideal candidate possesses both excellent communication and organizational skills, can work effectively within a fast paced environment, and will contribute to a supportive team environment. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office is a requirement, and previous experience/knowledge of the gaming/eSports industry is a definite asset.

  • Minimum 4 years work experience in a client services capacity
  • Passion for internal and external customer service
  • Core tasks of this job involve accurate and timely communications both internally and with our clients, and a high degree of interpersonal skills
  • Superior PC skills (proficiency in MS-Office, MS-Excel, Word, and Powerpoint) are required
  • Strong communication skills both oral and written
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Experience in a customer/client service role; comfortable interfacing directly with clients
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to take initiative to create the best outcome for clients and for meeting our mutual business objectives
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Effective time management skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Comfortable working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential
