About the Internships

Over the course of 10 weeks, a select group of college and university students will join us remotely, gaining valuable work experiences and insights into our most exciting products. Interns engage with Wizards’ beloved brands, gaining meaningful work-experience through day-to-day training, hands-on projects, executive exposure, individual development planning and mentorship. Did I mention we have a Dragon? Let's add your unlimited imagination and boundless curiosity our party.

Our program runs between June 14 - August 20 and will be remote in 2021. Applicants should be available for the full 10 weeks to get the most of the program. Our internships are paid! Rates are varied based on internship subject areas.

Successful interns will be considered for returning internships or full-time employment offers.

Internship Disciplines

For summer 2021, we are offering internships in the following fields. Please note your preference on your application, though we may consider you for multiple opportunities! Internships are open to undergrads and graduate level students unless otherwise noted.

  • Concept Art - Character, Creature, Environment, UI/UX
  • Digital Game Design
  • Software Engineering - Unity, Server-side, Full-Stack, Quality Assurance
  • Game Production - Print, Digital
  • Marketing - Digital, Brand, Consumer Insights
  • Fraud Investigation
  • MS/MA/MBA Only - Data Science

What You'll Bring:

  • Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong time management, organization and attention to detail.
  • A passion for learning, quality and exploring the games industry.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited, degree-seeking program.
