You will lead specific logistic activities of the European region for sales distribution channels with particular focus on ecommerce (Amazon) for all EMEA territories, and to support European distributors in the EEA + South Africa and Russia, and Mass market partners.
The person in this role will be encouraged to craft, execute and supervise supply-chain activities in the Europe region with the objective of creating optimal value while utilising our internal Hasbro partnerships, and external pan-European logistics services.
Sales Order Management
- Process and release orders in SAP and ensure the ordering process is aligned with agreed targets. In that respect, working together with the various Shared Service teams to resolve claims, check credit limits and collaborate with the Sales team in case of issues.
- Ensure a high level of service to our direct customers, focusing on solving issues to help maximise opportunities. Work with the Shared Services, ensuring all orders are processed timely and accurately. Maintain an up to date customer order form, to minimise errors.
- Handle inventory availability and allocation for customer orders. Collaborating closely with operational partners ensuring inventory availability is in line with customer expectations and DC requirements.
- Work with relevant distribution centres, ensuring products are shipped/ready for shipment and are delivered within in a timely fashion.
Supply-Chain Strategies and Activities in Europe
- Implementing and supporting the most efficient logistics model for all customers.
- Liaising with other members of the Operations team to ensure production timings and quantities meet customer expectations.
- Communicating relevant product and logistics information to e-Commerce, Mass and Hobby customers and being the first point of contact for sales administration queries.
- Lead in resolving logistics disputes by proactively looking for new solutions.
Planning and Production Activity
- For new campaign and catalogue inventory replenishment reworks, create purchase orders, ensure relevant updates are executed, set up and build a bill of materials for all relevant reworks. Add and maintain material determination for EDI orders.
- Brief the relevant local distribution centre on rework requirements and delivery schedules.
- Take full ownership of stock management for all new release products and catalogue products, collaborating accordingly with the Demand Planner
- Complete and update critical path documents
- Maintain relationships with Key Account Managers in to establish their supply chain expectations and understand customer requirements.
- Ensure work instructions and processes are detailed regularly. Recommend improvements and implement processes in order to continually develop our service and performance
Problem Solving
- Developing key insights that allow us to win the sale at the customer and algorithm level.
- Excellent planning skills to ensure execution.
- Comfortable solving new or unfamiliar problems. e.g. Online platforms and consumer expectations are constantly evolving.
What you'll bring:
- Previous working experience in e-Commerce required
- 2+ years of order logistics experience
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- SAP experience is important
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Solid understanding of main logistics models.
- Flexible and able to adapt to unique situations.
